Frequently asked questions
I am happy to answer these or any other questions about your ultrasound experience with us. I am available by phone 7 days a week 9 am to 8 pm.We advise that you increase your water intake to 80oz of water per day starting at least 3 days before your appointment. Proper hydration will help provide a beautiful window for great 3D images.
Additionally, do not eat 2 hours prior to your appointment. Eating close to your appointment puts the baby to sleep. Bring a sugary drink to have during session. This gets baby awake and moving for better images.
California does not generally tax services, however because every package includes tangible property we are required to collect taxes.
The state of California has published guidance on their website explaining more information about this. Read more information on the CDTFA website

Most of the time we are able to see gender as early as 14 weeks. There are however factors that could prevent us from making a reliable determination, such as baby’s position or fluid clarity.
If you purchase a gender package and we cannot determine the sex we will reschedule a second visit free of charge.
During the 1st trimester it is not recommended to perform pulse Doppler (AKA hearing babys heartbeat) since the fetus is too small. It hasn't been determined to be unsafe but it hasn't been proven to be harmless either. So for your safety we choose not to do it.
Any clinics offering heartbeat during the first trimester could be putting your baby at risk.
We recommend all patients be under the care of an OB/GYN Doctor. The scans done by your doctor are diagnostic ultrasounds to check baby's health. We offer an elective ultrasound for keepsake memories.
